Essential Compliance Highlights (Official CBSE Directive)
Official CBSE SARAS SOP: Clause-by-Clause Inspection Breakdown
The Central Board of Secondary Education issued the "Essential Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Required for Affiliation with CBSE - Composite Science Laboratory" to eliminate arbitrary inspections and establish transparent benchmarks across all secondary schools.
Under the SARAS framework, the inspection committee operates under strict digital guidelines where non-compliance with laboratory norms directly triggers affiliation rejection or extension deferral.
1. Key Regulatory Clauses Breakdown

Frequently Asked Questions (Official CBSE Directive)
Is having a Composite Science Lab compulsory for all secondary schools?
Yes. Under CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, every school up to Secondary level (Class 10) must maintain an operational, fully equipped Composite Science Laboratory.
Can Senior Secondary schools (Class 11-12) use the Composite Lab?
Senior Secondary schools offering Science Stream must maintain separate Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories. However, the Composite Lab continues to serve Class 6 to 10 students.
