Job Description: English and Social Studies Teacher Classes: Primary and Middle School *Snehalata Kamalraj Dev International School (SKDS) - Proposed CBSE, Kausa–Shil, Thane* *1. Skills* * Plan and deliver engaging, CBSE-aligned lessons using activity-based, experiential and inquiry-based teaching methods. * Demonstrate effective classroom management, assessment, differentiated instruction and student engagement strategies. *2. Knowledge* * Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Social Studies, with the ability to develop students’ communication, critical thinking and conceptual understanding. * Understanding of the CBSE curriculum, competency-based learning, assessment practices and diverse student learning needs. *3. Attitude* * Collaborative and team-oriented, with a willingness to work closely with colleagues, coordinators, parents and school leadership. * Student-centred, empathetic, adaptable and reflective, with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional development. * Enthusiastic about being part of a growing school, with the initiative and adaptability to help build strong teaching practices, contribute to school development, and grow professionally alongside the institution. * Willing to work closely with colleagues and school leadership, share ideas, learn from feedback, and contribute positively to building a supportive and progressive school culture. *Qualifications:* Relevant graduate/postgraduate degree and B.Ed., as applicable to the subject and CBSE requirements.
