Academic Coordinator – Primary Section (CBSE)

*Bharat Public School, Wagholi, Pune*, is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and result-oriented *Academic Coordinator for the Primary Section * to lead academic planning, supervise teaching and learning, mentor teachers, and ensure high standards of academic excellence. *Key Responsibilities:* * Plan, implement, and monitor the academic calendar, curriculum, lesson plans, and syllabus completion. * Supervise classroom teaching, conduct classroom observations, and provide constructive feedback to teachers. * Mentor teachers on lesson planning, competency-based education, experiential learning, assessment strategies, and classroom management. * Monitor student performance, analyse learning gaps, and implement remedial and enrichment programmes. * Ensure timely completion of assessments, worksheets, question papers, report cards, and academic records. * Conduct academic meetings, teacher training sessions, and performance reviews. * Coordinate parent-teacher meetings and address academic concerns professionally. * Ensure effective implementation of CBSE guidelines, NEP 2020 principles, and school academic policies. * Maintain academic documentation and submit regular progress reports to the Principal. * Promote innovative teaching practices, technology integration, and holistic student development. *Eligibility Criteria:* * Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a CBSE school. * Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline; B.Ed. preferred. * Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, academic planning, and assessment practices. * Excellent communication, team management, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and school ERP systems. * A dynamic personality with strong leadership, initiative, accountability, and a passion for educational excellence.
