PGT Computer Science – Euro International School, Sector 84 *Position:* PGT – Computer Science *School:* Euro International School, Sector 84, Gurugram *Department:* Computer Science / IT *Experience:* Relevant teaching experience preferred Job Description We are looking for a passionate and qualified *Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Computer Science* to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, concept-based Computer Science education to senior secondary students and preparing them for board examinations. Key Responsibilities * Teach Computer Science/Information Technology to senior secondary classes as per the prescribed curriculum. * Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans, classroom activities, practical sessions, and assessments. * Teach programming concepts and practical skills, including *Python, SQL, databases, computer networks, data structures, and emerging technologies*, as applicable to the curriculum. * Conduct and supervise practical/lab sessions and ensure effective utilization of the computer laboratory. * Prepare question papers, assignments, projects, worksheets, and examination material. * Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. * Support students in board-examination preparation and practical examinations. * Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, technology-oriented learning environment. * Integrate digital tools, educational technology, and innovative teaching methodologies into lessons. * Participate in school events, workshops, academic activities, and professional-development programmes. * Maintain appropriate academic records and communicate student progress to parents and school management when required. Candidate Profile * Postgraduate degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications or a relevant discipline. * *B.Ed.* qualification preferred/required as per school and applicable norms. * Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and programming. * Good communication, presentation, classroom-management, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to make complex technical concepts simple and engaging for students. * Passion for teaching and willingness to adopt innovative, technology-enabled teaching practices. * Prior experience teaching *Classes XI–XII / CBSE curriculum* will be an advantage.
